Shangri-La Kennels has been in business and located in Auburn since the 1940s. It has been operating as a full time boarding, grooming, training facility since 1984, a total of 31 years under the same ownership. We provide the very best in pet care while you are away. We are located exactly 2 miles from the Auburn exit of the Maine Turnpike on the Northbound side of Washington Street. We offer boarding, day care, grooming and training services. Our kennel is recommended by area Veterinarians, dog clubs, pet professionals, and your friends and neighbors. We have been consistently voted Best of the Best in the kennel category. Our kennel cares for all breeds of dogs large and small, cats and other small family pets. WE treat your pets as if they were our own. Here it’s Expert Care Given with Love. We live on premises so you can be sure your pet will not be left unattended. Monday - Friday 8am - Noon & 3pm - 6pm Sat. 8am - Noon ONLY Sun 8am - 9 am & 6pm - 8 pm We are closed for the drop off & pick up of pets on all major holidays Check out time is between 8am - 9 am. There is a next days charge for pets staying after 9am We accept reservations 7 days a week, however during holidays, school vacations and the summer months we do sometimes book up well in advance. It is best to call in advance during our busier seasons to arrange your boarding dates. We encourage people who are thinking about using our services to come see what we have to offer.
